About me

Hi. I am an experienced photographer based on Berkeley Square in Bristol.

My work has been published many times in national and local press, including The Guardian, The Telegraph and BBC Wildlife magazine, and in several publications by The Royal Photographic Society. I am Photographer in Residence at the world-famous St George’s concert hall.

I take a documentary approach to photography, favouring natural light where possible. From my years as a music photographer, I’ve learned how to add glamour and romance to images, even if lighting conditions are not ideal.

I have an MA from City University in London. Over the past 20 years, I have held senior roles in several leading arts organisations including The Royal Photographic Society.

I use Fujifilm X-series mirrorless cameras and lenses, which have a unique colour response and contemporary feel. For quiet events, they can have the advantage of being completely silent, and can produce excellent images even in low lighting conditions.

I hope you like my portfolio. Please do read some testimonials about me from my previous clients. I’m also on Instagram here.

Please get in touch for a no obligation chat about how we could work together. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for visiting my site, Evan
